Today sees the launch of
Technology Accessibility. First, I love
technology and the possibilities it opens up for individuals, for business, for
creativity, for connectivity, and even for longevity, you name it. But, as a person with low vision due to
extreme atrophy of the optic nerves, I often find difficulty accessing new
technology.
With Technology Accessibility, I’ll
be evaluating different technology, from gadgets and gizmos, to software, the
internet, and beyond. I’ll rate which
ones are the most accessible and occasionally give tips to users (and
developers) on how to make their experience more convenient and productive.
